January 31

UT Dallas Sales Reunion

Alumni from the sales program in the Naveen Jindal School of Management are invited to a reunion at Matchbox in Preston Hollow Village beginning at 5:30 p.m.

February 15

Explore Engineering Day

Learn how engineers change the world at this interactive event for the whole family. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., attendees can experience hands-on activities and workshops, tech talks, lab tours, panels and educational demonstrations at the Engineering Complex and Visitors Center. Registration is now open for this free event.

February 27

Leaders & Luminaries Lecture: International Trade Policy and Corporate Government Affairs

Following a 6 p.m. reception, Leila Afas, director of international public policy for Toyota Motor North America, will speak from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center.

JSOM Alumni Event

If you’re a graduate of the Naveen Jindal School of Management, you’re welcome to connect with other alumni at the National Video Game Museum in Frisco from 5 to 7 p.m. More details to come.

March 6

Global Business and International Management Alumni Event

JSOM alumni, get your bowling shoes on! This event for global business and international management alumni will be held at Bowlmor Lanes in Addison from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Details and registration to come.

April 16

Bay Area Alumni Event

We’re coming to you, San Mateo! Alumni located in the Bay Area are invited to an exclusive alumni event on the West Coast at S B St. from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Details and registration to come.

April 18

UT Dallas Law Conference

UT Dallas alumni lawyers are invited to this annual conference, which allows alumni to connect and share their expertise with pre-law students. The conference is held at the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center, and registration is complimentary. The program begins at 9:30 a.m. with a closing keynote at 3 p.m., followed by a reception.

Ring Ceremony

Good news for all alumni — if you haven’t purchased an official UT Dallas ring, you can still order one this semester. Balfour will be on campus Feb. 24 and 25 to help answer any questions and show you our rings in person. This year’s rings are adorned with a special 50th anniversary arbormark on the inside of the bank and can also be ordered online

At the Ring Ceremony, you’ll receive your UT Dallas ring, then have the opportunity to take part in the traditional dunking of the ring in the reflecting pools on the Margaret McDermott Mall.

April 22-23

Comets Giving Day

You’re officially invited to be a part of Comets Giving Day beginning April 22! This year, we have 1,969 minutes to make an impact in honor of UT Dallas’ 50th anniversary. 

Alumni and friends are welcome and encouraged to come back to campus to be a part of the fun. Comets Giving Day events will include a special kickoff party on April 22, with a celebration event to follow April 23. Be on the lookout for more event details coming soon.

May 2

UT Dallas 50th Finale

In celebration of the University’s 50th anniversary, join UT Dallas for a special outdoor concert featuring the Richardson Symphony Orchestra and a fireworks show. Mark your calendars for this free event, and stay tuned for additional  information.

Public Affairs Conference

Don’t miss this year’s UT Dallas Public Affairs Conference, which will include breakout sessions, lunch, a reception and a keynote presentation from the Public Affairs Alumna/Alumnus of the Year. The annual conference will take place at the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center.
