North Texas Giving Day

Student and patient emergency funding efforts, as well as research initiatives, at The University of Texas at Dallas will benefit from gifts made on Sept. 17 through the Communities Foundation of Texas’ annual online giving event.

North Texas Giving Day is the largest single-day community giving in the nation. Gifts can be made to support UT Dallas, as well as the University’s Callier Center for Communication Disorders or the Center for BrainHealth.

Gifts to the Callier Center will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $76,000 to support the Callier Patient Emergency Fund, generating funds to provide patients – especially those who have lost income or insurance coverage – access to care. Undesignated contributions to the University will support the UT Dallas Student Emergency Fund, offering resources for students impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

In 2019 North Texas Giving Day donors contributed more than $50 million to support 3,000 local nonprofits. Contributions to UT Dallas exceeded $200,000.

Gifts can be made online today by visiting the UT Dallas giving page. Contributions can support any area of UT Dallas by including your designation in the notes section.
