The Coupled Ion Neutral Dynamics Investigation (CINDI) is a small NASA mission of opportunity studying space weather in Earth’s atmosphere.

A key priority of the Department of Physics is to reach out to communities beyond the UT Dallas campus. From physics camps for middle-school girls to comic books about space science to research tools to aid cosmologists, our faculty and students provide leadership, service and unique opportunities to encourage the study and pursuit of physics.
