Holiday Wellness Series
During the busy holiday season, continuing to exercise and eat healthy becomes very challenging. UT Dallas Recreational Sports and dietitians Deborah Hamlin and Sara Asberry want to help make this holiday season much less stressful. Come join them throughout the month of November for some free exercise and nutrition sessions. In addition, tips and recipes will be shared to help keep you in control! Take part in some or all of the scheduled activities, which include exercise, nutrition demonstrations and snacking.
— November 5 —
30-minute kettlebell class from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. followed by nutrition advice and hot spiced tea from 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. Activity Center, Multipurpose Room Green (MPG)
— November 12 —
30-minute stretching class from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. followed by healthy DIY snack demonstration from 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. Recreation Center West, Multipurpose Room
— November 19 —
30-minute healthy party foods demonstration from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. followed by cardio dance class from 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. Activity Center, Multipurpose Room Green (MPG)
