This technology was developed to guide the recovery of arm and leg movements after a brain, peripheral nerve, or spinal cord injury. Sensors are worn on the arms and legs to monitor movements using a smart phone app which triggers the vagus nerve stimulator. This technology allows patients to improve arm and leg movement using a few small sensors and an app on their smart phone during normal daily activities.
